A little about me

Hello! I am a wife and mother to three, aunt, sister, niece, cousin, and granddaughter! These connections and all the memories tied to them have had a significant influence in my passion in capturing the true nature and spirit of family. 

For me, the joy of photography comes directly from the unexpected. Even if that means children who would rather dig dirt than pose - that's okay! I embrace the chaos as it not only reflects those raw and authentic personalities, but makes for an awesome capture! The discovery of others and the curating of imagery that reveals and speaks to its subject and viewer is my goal, and that magic often happens when we least expect it. I like to just go with the flow with a watchful and artistic eye. 

As a photographer, I enjoy visiting new places that are significant and beautiful to my clients. Finding the uniqueness of an environment with a fresh and artistic eye will always result in a magical session. I also have an indoor studio that I am happy to create and curate in! 

I am based out of Metro Detroit area in Michigan.
